HOW TO CODE THE BBC MICRO:BIT?

To program the micro:bit, you can use an Integrated Development Environment
(IDE), which is a special tool that helps you write and test your code. The most

popular IDE for micro:bit is Microsoft MakeCode.

Microsoft MakeCode is an online platform that allows you to write code using
coloured blocks that fit together like puzzle pieces. It is easy to use and perfect for

beginners. You drag and drop the blocks to create instructions and then download
the code to the micro:bit.

The steps to code a project in MakeCode are as follows:

1 Open the web browser.
